End of month rush

There’s always a rush at the end of the month. This is because, as a training provider, we have to submit paperwork to meet our deadlines which can sometimes prove to be a bit frantic. Yesterday wasn’t too bad, but i was still fairly busy, as i still had my other job roles to carry out.

More responsibilities

It’s weird how things change… This time last year, i was applying for Apprenticeship vacancies on the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website. Now, i find myself in charge of uploading and managing vacancies on the site for multiple employers. It shows how far i’ve come and how much more responsibility i’ve been given since when i started, as i near the completion of my Apprenticeship.

Completing Functional Skills part of Apprenticeship

Going through my speaking and listening presentation with my tutor later to get it prepared for tomorrows meeting. It will be roughly 20mins long and will be a discussion on health and safety where I have to speak (formal/informal) and listen. My tutor will be there to assess me and hopefully mark me with a pass for it afterwards!

More tech cert exams and lots of work!

Since moving office at the end of December, it has been so hectic in the office. I’ve neglected my apprenticeship work this year apart from taking 3 Technical Certificate exams. I did them online, so I received the result straight away. I passed 2 and failed the 3rd – but I’m not too worried as I didn’t revise and I can retake it whenever (the benefits of doing an apprenticeship with a training provider!)
