It’s weird how things change… This time last year, i was applying for Apprenticeship vacancies on the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website. Now, i find myself in charge of uploading and managing vacancies on the site for multiple employers. It shows how far i’ve come and how much more responsibility i’ve been given since when i started, as i near the completion of my Apprenticeship.
I am really happy about this as having more responsibilities offers more challenges and greater expectations. The importance of the task means i have to really apply myself and be accurate with the information. Vacancies on the NAS site are important and are highly moderated.
So what exactly do i have to do? I have to get all the details from the employer that i need for the vacancy and fill in the form on the NAS site. This then gets submitted and (hopefully) approved to be published for people to log on to NAS and apply for the vacancy. I then have to deal with the applications with the employer.
What i’d really like to do is to be able to show you on Orangeo what vacancies are currently available, but it’s finding time to do this! Sometime in the future i will be building more pages for the site, like a vacancies page. If you have any ideas i’d like to hear from you (use the feedback tab on the left or the contacts page).
In the meantime, if you are looking for vacancies, here’s a link to the NAS site - https://apprenticeshipvacancymatchingservice.lsc.gov.uk/navms/Forms/Candidate/Apprenticeships.aspx
I love reading your blog! Hopefully you’ll have more time in the future to update it more regularly, as it’s interesting to see how other Apprentice’s are finding their role!
Thanks for your comment Ryan!
